CHLOE ARTICLE IN RESURGENCE MAGAZINE

KIM ROSEN WORKSHOP & CONCERT WITH CHLOE

Just to let you know that there is a wonderful opportunity to work with U.S. Poet, Kim Rosen, who will be facilitating a weekend and/or 5 day poetry retreat in Clara Beg, Co Wicklow between 18 & 23 July. Clara Beg is a beautiful centre, nestling in the heart of 3,000 acres of open countryside, including forests, heather, streams, mountains and numerous enchanting stone ruins, with sweeping views tumbling down to the sea – definitely a place for nourishment, nurture, rest and renewal!

"To do a workshop with Kim Rosen is to discover poetry as a gateway into the soul. In the three workshops I have attended I have discovered that the way Kim works with poetry is an invitation to wake up, be present and come home to your own heart. As I began to learn poems by heart I discovered that they could be both a friend and a teacher. The poem works like an inner medicine, healing and transforming you in the most unexpected ways. Kim is a good friend of Chloe Goodchild and the two of them will be joining up together for an interactive performance of songs and poetry on Weds 16th July, St Kevin’s Community Centre, Dublin.

ANNUAL RAAGASSWAA CONCERT...

Anyone who had the fortune to see Padmakar Mishra performing at Sing London last year with Chloe will be interested to hear he is performing in London with his classical Indian music students in a special East-West concert. Chloe will be singing too and it all takes place on Sunday 27th July, starting at 3pm at Caribbean Hindu Society, 16 Ostade Rd, London, SW2 2BB. SONGS OF KUAN YIN - SOUNDS TRUE

We are delighted to announce a weekend residential gathering in January 2009 for the whole Naked Voice Community, open to newcomers and old friends at the beautiful Buckland Hall in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. VOICELINES

Whether you are a beginner or a committed student/practitioner of the Naked Voice, Voicelines are an extremely valuable way of deepening your journey into voice and sound. It's also a simple way to connect directly with Chloe Goodchild for 30 minutes once a month. You can choose how you want to use the time. For example, explore a question or sing non-stop. SEVEN SOUNDS OF LOVE PHOTOS...

We are hoping to create a film slideshow of the Seven Sounds of Love with audio and pictures of the movements. We would love you to send us high-res photos of YOU doing the movements for any or all of Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa Dha, Ni & Sa. It would be great if these could be in varied locations and then they can be edited together to create a beautiful slideshow to be uploaded to our website and YouTube, etc. So please ask a friend or family member to take some photos of you and either e-mail them to the office or burn them to a CD and send to the office. Please send them in as soon as you can, preferably by the end of May.
