The Sword and The Flower is a synthesis of The Naked Voice Core Team's life's research expressing the essence of The Naked Voice, Shintaido, and World Rhythmn. It is a journey of the Self, and accesses the naked sound and movement of the human soul, through an exploration of key themes, central to the perennial wisdom within all ancient traditions: The Witness or Zero consciousness, The Cycle of Life (birth-life-death), the integration of human-divine love (the root to the crown of consciousness), the Pathless Way, the Singing Field.

The Sword and The Flower brings renewed wisdom to the human spirit, uniting the complementary forces of our nature, masculine/feminine, order/chaos, light/dark - through sound and voice, mantra and mudra, meditation and movement, beyond the boundaries of creed or culture.

This workshop opens up an exploration of the resonance of being, through the dance of eros and emptiness. It is essentially a direct experience of joy and light, rooted in silence.

Wisdom Body & Sound

The naked voice opens up immensities inside us, far beyond the rational mind. Working with vibrational maps: sacred chants and mantras (words of power); the seven central energy centres (chakras); the octave of consciousness; the musical modes; songs and improvisational patterns, we bring energy, awareness, humour, passion and presence to our singing. Silence is at the source, the inner sound we return home to the zero - point of our being

Masashi's movement practices, help us to embody and energise the sound, much more deeply. They give us the confidence to presence our voice, navigate the voices of our unconscious, and sing 'naked', without fear, with the innocence of a child, as the wisdom of the singing soul emerges. This new depth of voice and sound work takes the music of our fears, our storylines and memories, and transforms them into the true sounds of our essential nature.
